Maxwell John Love

Maxwell Love got interested in politics shortly after 9-11 when his dad took him to a Vets for Peace meeting in rural Wisconsin. He started organizing with homeless people in Madison during college, and then cut his teeth during Scott Walker's attack on workers in Wisconsin in 2011.

He went on to lead the US Student Association from 2013-2015 and then ran a statewide 501c4, did finance on Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes' historic 2018 campaign, worked in his official office, then left to be political director of SEIU's Milwaukee local, and now is a digital consultant.

He jokes that he did the full arc of political work and is ready to do it again! He studied Arabic, Afro-American & Chicano/Latino studies, and Political Science at UW-Madison.
